How does interview scheduling work in HR Lab Assistant?

After you agree on the date, time, and location with the candidate, you can create and send the invite directly from HR Lab Assistant. You can schedule the interview straight from the “Candidate Applications” section, an individual application, or the “Selection Rounds.” With just a few clicks, the candidate receives an invite containing all details, and can confirm, suggest a new time, or decline. Based on their response, both you and the candidate receive notifications and reminders about next steps.

What happens if a candidate doesn't respond to the invite?

If the candidate doesn't confirm the proposed time within the set deadline, the system sends a reminder to both you and the candidate about the missing response. If the candidate hasn't accepted the time via the system for any reason, make sure to verify if the interview will proceed as planned.

What if you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled interview?

You can easily reschedule or cancel the interview directly in the system. The candidate is automatically notified of the change. It's always good practice to share the reason for the change to maintain a positive tone and build strong candidate relationships.

Does the system send reminders to both candidates and recruiters?

Absolutely. The system sends two reminders to both recruiters and candidates.
Recruiters get their first reminder in the morning, with a full list of interviews for the day, helping them plan and prepare. The second reminder arrives 15 minutes before each interview.
On the other hand, candidates get their first reminder one day before the interview, and the second two hours before the interview starts.
Recruiters also have the option to snooze, disable, or adjust the timing of the reminders.
